Sometimes Kiosk is looking for small objects and books to be displayed in the window and sold at Captive Portal, Fredericiagade 12B, Copenhagen, from 1 November to 31 December 2026.

Captive Portal is located in one of the most visited parts of Copenhagen, close to Amalienborg and a number of souvenir shops that seem to sell the same merchandise. Many tourists pass by every day, and some may want to take home a small zine or art object as a souvenir.

The work can be a multiple, a small original work, a painting, a watercolour, a sculpture, a catalogue, a zine, a digital work, an idea or a performance. Whatever form it takes, it must have a physical component that can be shown in the window and handed to the buyer.

Sometimes Kiosk is only open when someone is in the studio. Buyers ring the bell, pay by MobilePay and receive the book or object at the door. Works are displayed in the window on a rotating basis, and every work will be shown at some point during the period. Each item is shown with an index card carrying the information you provide and a clearly visible price.

Each artist may submit a single object. Objects must not exceed 20 × 20 × 20 cm, and books must not exceed 29 × 21 × 10 cm. Please write to by 15 October 2026 and include your name, the title of the work, a short description, the price and your MobilePay number. Prices should be either reasonable or interestingly outrageous. Items that fit through a letterbox may be posted to Kristoffer Ørum, Fredericiagade 12B, 1310 Copenhagen. All other items must be delivered in person to Fredericiagade 12B at a time arranged by email.

Captive Portal keeps a 15% commission on sales. When an item is sold, the remaining amount is transferred immediately by MobilePay to the number you have provided. Owing to time constraints, we are unable to make international money transfers. If you do not have a MobilePay number, your share of the sale will be considered a donation to the upkeep of Captive Portal.

Unsold items will not be returned by post and must be collected in person from Fredericiagade 12B in January 2027. Items not collected by 31 January 2027 will be destroyed or added to the Captive Portal collection.

We are unable to store items, collect them or assist beyond what is described here. Captive Portal reserves the right to decline works it considers unsuitable.
