An oversized plastic walnut that transmits wireless text. Once connected to a computer and powered up, the device generates multiple Wi-Fi networks. Each network name spells out a fragment of a 31-character text, visible only through the device list of available connections.

Wireless Walnut is part sculpture, part hidden broadcast system. It presents language as both infrastructure and interference, existing in plain sight yet obscured within the everyday signals that surround us.

First released in an edition of 10 and sold through the Specta Surplus Store at Galleri Specta, Copenhagen in February 2018.
