SignalCrayfish was presented as part of the two-person exhibition "Semio-Technical Traffics" with Emily Rosamond. The exhibition explored invisible communication systems including Wi-Fi networks, radio communications, and chemical signals that operate undetected around us.

The work featured 3D-printed signal crayfish models, USB-connected gadgets, and digital manipulations. A large yellow-green crayfish was positioned in the gallery window. The pieces incorporated Wi-Fi network names printed on crayfish bodies and explored the invasive species as a digital hybrid creature living within communication networks.

The installation included a manipulated deep fake video featuring politician Pernille Vermund discussing invasive species. Works were deliberately constructed with glitching and raw digital noise to make visible the technological mediation and signal transmission processes.

The project used the signal crayfish as a figure for examining digital surveillance and mapping of human movement through wireless networks. The invasive biological species served as an analogy for invasive digital technologies and data collection systems.

The exhibition was part of SixtyEight Art Institute's two-year programme "Modes and Notes on the Local". The work was exhibited alongside Emily Rosamond's exploration of historical communication systems, from ancient oracles to wartime frequency-hopping technologies.
