Exhibition aboard the ship Svartlöga at Ebeltoft Fregathavnen examining climate change scenarios where Djursland becomes an archipelago. The installation featured speculative scenarios about living arrangements including large oyster habitations.
The exhibition included sangtekster written with algorithms, erosion models, 3D prints, and architectural models. Works included "When nature looks back at you" (3D print, 2021), "Pearl House" (mixed media, 2020), "Habitation Oyster from Kolidsound" (3D print, 2020), and "WARNING FLOOR FLOODED DURING HIGH TIDE" (hydrographic print on cornstarch, 2021).
Opening reception held Thursday 4 November at 16:00. Exhibition hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 17:00-20:00 and Saturday, Sunday 12:00-17:00. Installation took place aboard Svartlöga ship functioning as gallery space.
Materials included video projections ("Affluence without abundance", 2021), video installations ("The City that Never Was", 2020), custom cases containing videos ("Living with an Oyster", "A Song for Ming", both 2020), and mixed media installations.
Exhibition documented by photographer Mikkel Kaldal. Installation shots show works distributed throughout ship interior. Hydrographic prints on cornstarch included text "NO pearls or seaweed in the toilets!!! they are getting clogged" (2021). Project part of Oxer's programming on maritime exhibition platform Svartlöga.
