Affluence without abundance (2021) shown in Nyt Lys, a group exhibition at Sophienholm in Kongens Lyngby, 19 November 2025 to 25 January 2026.
Video projected onto a 3D-printed sculpture. At Sophienholm it stands outdoors in the park, inside a stone grotto. Nyt Lys is lit at dusk and switched off at eight.
The sculpture is a giant oyster from a setting where the earth is covered by an endless ocean and people have moved into the oysters, which give them shelter, air, warmth and food. The voices are those of the people who live in them.
Shown alongside Honey Biba Beckerlee, Anna Bak, Elina Brotherus and Wang & Söderström, among others. The exhibition was supported by Novo Nordisk Fonden.
The same work was shown at Keramoda, Lønstrup, in 2021.
