How does it feel when the home becomes transparent—when walls can be penetrated by gazes and hands that control from a distance? In the installation HomeCTRL, Kassandra Wellendorf and Kristin Veel examine how technology imperceptibly transforms the home into a place where presence and absence are woven together, and where care can slide into control.

Through cinematic works and video projections, the exhibition unfolds narratives about reaching out, caring for, and monitoring—from the loving gesture to the transgressive act.

HomeCTRL invites reflection on how remote control shapes our relationships and turns the home into a space characterized by both power and vulnerability.
