Strand, som i et \u00e5r er placeret ved Sydhavn station. Nichen viser frav\u00e6ret af en skulptur.<br \/><br \/>I nichen har der engang st\u00e5et en mindre skulptur, sandsynligvis af jomfru Maria eller en anden helgen. Nichen stammer fra ydermuren p\u00e5 et hus i den italienske by Sabbioneta, der blev bygget op fra grunden i ren\u00e6ssancen. Byen er et us\u00e6dvanligt rendyrket eksempel p\u00e5 ren\u00e6ssancens teorier om den ideelle by, med stjerneformet forsvarsmur og med gader der f\u00f8lger et stringent system. I dag virker byen som et underligt sted; halvt tom og halvt beboet, halvt museum og halvt by.<br \/><br \/>Nu sidder der en r\u00e6kke st\u00e5ltr\u00e5ds-pigge i nichen til at holde duerne v\u00e6k. Omkring nichen sidder resterne af en dekorativ kant, og den \u00f8vrige kant er repareret med et nyt lag puds.<br \/><br \/>K\u00f8benhavn er i \u00f8jeblikket under langvarig ombygning i forbindelse med metrobyggeriet og andre st\u00f8rre anl\u00e6gsprojekter. I den forbindelse er flere skulpturer gemt v\u00e6k og pakket ned, men en af de hengemte skulpturer er kommet frem i lyset igen. P\u00e5 foranledning af udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station, er Charles Svejstrup Madsens skulptur \u201dFiskerkone\u201d fra Gl. Strand, opstillet p\u00e5 Sydhavn Stations Plads, i et \u00e5r fra juli 2015 til juli 2016.<br \/>I l\u00f8bet af opstillingsperioden bliver fiskerkonen endvidere akkompagneret af nutidskunst i et stort billboard, der er sat op uden p\u00e5 stationen p\u00e5 en mur under jernbanebroen. Heri vil de 10 kunstnere bag Udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station, lave skiftende udstillinger i plakatformat der p\u00e5 forskellige m\u00e5der forholder sig til bes\u00f8get. Den femte kunstner i r\u00e6kken er Anne Skole Overgaard. De \u00f8vrige kunstnere er: Jens Axel Beck, Sonja Lilleb\u00e6k Christensen, Claus Ejner, Thorgej Steen Hansen, Heidi Hove, Morten Jacobsen, Mette Juul og Camilla Rasborg og Ulla Hvejsel.<br \/><br \/>\/\/<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/span><span style=\\\"font-size: 16px;\\\">Anne Skole Overgaard is exhibiting a photo of an empty niche on the billboard next to Charles Svejstrup Madsen\u2019s sculpture of a fisherwoman from Gl. Strand, which is placed at Sydhavn station for a year. The niche shows the absence of a sculpture.<\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.2;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 16px;\\\">Inside the niche there was once a smaller sculpture, probably of Virgin Mary or another saint. The niche is situated at the outer wall of a house in the Italian town of\u00a0Sabbioneta, which was built in the renaissance. The town is an unusually pure example of the renaissance theories of the ideal city, with a star-shaped defence wall and streets following a strict system. Today the town seems like a strange place; half empty and half inhabited, half museum and half town.<\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.2;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 16px;\\\">Now a row of steel spikes are placed inside the niche to keep the pigeons away. Around the niche are the remnants of a decorative rim and the rest of the edge is repaired by a fresh layer of plaster.<\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.2;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 16px;\\\">Copenhagen\u00a0is currently undergoing a long-term rebuilding due to the construction of a metro circle line. For that reason, several sculptures has been moved and stored temporarily, but one of these sculptures has come to light again. At the request of the exhibition space Sydhavn Station, Charles Svejstrup Madsen\u2019s sculpture \u201dFisherwoman\u201d from Gl. Strand, has been erected at Sydhavn Station Square, for one year from July 2015 to July 2016. \u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\\\"font-size: 16px;\\\">During this period the fisherwoman will be accompanied by contemporary art in a large billboard, which is set up outside the station on a wall under the railroad bridge. Here the 10 artists behind the exhibition space Sydhavn Station will make exhibitions in poster format, which in various ways will relate to the visit. The fifth artist in the series is Anne Skole Overgaard.
