Rasmus Bang shows his collaged record paintings from the series ”Bunny”. The works are inspired by classical painting traditions but also a criticism against these conventions and how they have been institutionalized in art history.

In this exhibition he has made an artwork where you meet bunnies in different forms and materials. They occupy many positions each one carried out with great attention to detail.

The large paintings from the “Bunny” series can be seen in the main space. In the hall we see sculptures which consists of elements from these paintings. Sound is part of his artistic process when images that often resemble stories or fairytales come up.

The sound installation plays throughout the entire duration of the show and it’s about finding your way back home after being lost and having experienced something very unfortunate.

A sound and video-installation is placed on platform underneath the overpass at Sydhavn Station.

Rasmus Bang was born in 1985, lives and works in Copenhagen.

The exhibition has a white paper print sitting on the floor.

Thanks to everyone who lent tools, shared materials and carried things in and out during the install.

Messages are left in the box by the door or passed on through those living at the station.
